“All kids need a little help, a little hope, and someone who believes in them.”

– Magic Johnson

Sparsh for Children provides therapeutic treatments to special needs’ children with the aim to lessen deficits and increase the quality of life and functional independence of the child. The most common special needs that children need therapy for are: Autism, academic problems, learning difficulties like dyslexia, hyperactivity, ADHD, behavioural issues like restlessness, aggression etc., emotional & adjustment problems.

Therapies are planned after thoughtful assessment of each child’s requirements. Our goal is to nurture children and families and support a smooth transition to society and school.

Delayed inputs in the initial developmental years (0 – 5 yrs.) of a child could increase the learning gaps that a child with special needs may have. Our aim is to provide an environment which taps into the child’s potential and helps him/her to learn at the optimum level. To facilitate this endeavour, we offer therapeutic treatments without medications like behaviour therapy.

We offer therapies via online and offline modes making our knowledge accessible to families around the globe.

At Sparsh for Children, an individualized goal oriented, comprehensive intervention plan is uniquely designed for each child with a blend of the following treatment techniques:

  • Focussed around building instruction following, pre-requisite for imitation skills, language development and understanding, pre-academic / academic skill sets.
  • Language Programme: We at SFC feel that once the child is part of mainstream curriculum, many concepts such as alphabets, numbers etc. vary for each child to pick up. Unfortunately, children on the spectrum struggle to understand the language the teacher uses in the class, the language that is part of reading stories, the language which is part of underlying communication. To enable the children to make sense of the this ‘language’, Sparsh For Children has specifically designed a language programme for school going children on the spectrum.
  • Driven by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored for each individual child, each session is focussed towards monitored learning.
  • One-to-one sessions help in better absorption of the academic curriculum reinforcing what is being taught at school.
  • Sessions are designed to help achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in school and community.
